【CFP】AEROSPACE SYSTEMS Special Issue on “Intelligent Sensing and Control for Aerospace Unmanned Systems”

Published:2020-02-21

Unmanned systems, capable of performing missions autonomously without human intervention or with human cooperation, have gained fast development in recent years. Aerospace unmanned systems (AUS) such as unmanned aircraft, spacecraft, near space vehicles, service robots and manipulators play a key role for leading the development. To pursue reliability and autonomy for AUS, advanced or intelligent methodologies should be paid great attention, particularly on sensing and control that are critical issues of the unmanned systems for data processing and information decision. Also, to build up environmental adaptivity, sensing and control need to be integrated into an intelligent framework for technical use.

This special issue on “Intelligent Sensing and Control for Aerospace Unmanned Systems” will cover a broad spectrum of topics in advanced sensing and advanced control and focus specially on dealing with new problems encountering in autonomous control of AUS. The issue aims at providing an opportunity for researchers and practitioners working in the field of control engineering and aerospace engineering to disseminate their new ideas and research results. Original high quality research papers on topics of interest, including but not limited to the following, are solicited:

⚫ Modeling, Identification and Simulation for AUS
⚫ Adaptive Filtering and Statistical Signal Processing
⚫ Machine Learning for Signal Processing
⚫ Image Processing and Understanding
⚫ Information Fusion
⚫ Adaptive and Learning Control with Applications on AUS
⚫ Robust and Networked Control with Applications on AUS
⚫ Trajectory Planning and Optimization
⚫ Integrated Guidance, Navigation and Control
⚫ Intelligent Robotics
